All diaper bags have elastic loops sewn into the inside seams to help keep bottles and/or sippy cups held upright.

Carolina Rags is located in the serene and picturesque Beaufort, South Carolina.  I think we live in one of the most beautiful places, Beautiful Beaufort By The Sea!
All of my bags are made from scratch by me in my smoke-free home.  They are not mass produced in sub-standard factories or in high pressure workrooms.  Each item is made one at a time with great care and thorough attention, assuring you the highest quality.  I use the latest designs and fabrics that are selected from thousands.  I take great pride in my work and would never make anything that I wouldn't carry myself (and I do).

About Me
A little bit about me...my name is Angie.  I am the sole owner and designer of Carolina Rags.  I was born and raised right here in Beaufort, South Carolina.  I started sewing and making purses about 8 or so years ago.  I have 4 beautiful children that I love very much, 2 sons and 2 daughters. I have an amazing boyfriend who supports me in all that I do and he has a daughter who I love as if she were my own.

I am a type A personality, meaning that I cannot sit still for too long, no idle hands here!  I always have ideas going through my head which leads to late nights working them out.  And thanks to many loyal customers and businesses, I have created an awesome local following.  Business cards continue to change hands and I continue to make new designs.  One of my most popular designs is the Palmetto Moon embroidery design.


My oldest son Ryan graduated from high school in June 09, left the nest in August and flew about 2 miles down the road to Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot, which is right here in Beaufort, South Carolina.  He is now one of the few and the proud, a United States Marine.  While he was in boot camp, I decided to design a USMC Mom purse for myself to start carrying as soon as he became a Marine.  (I am just a little bit proud of that boy of mine!)  I shared it with my Facebook friends and in a few short hours had a page of orders to fill.  I think I even sold the purse I made for myself.  

I am one proud Marine Mom!


I will continue to create and design purses and diaper bags for as long as I have people wanting them.  Please check back frequently for new designs that will be added on a regular basis.
